Accused of Killing Three Young Girls at Taylor Swift Club Event

The 17-year-old boy charged with murdering three young girls at a Taylor Swift themed holiday club in Southport has been named as Axel Muganwa by a judge who lifted a ban on his identity. Muganwa, also known as Axel Rudakubana, was arrested shortly after the incident on August 12th, 2023.

Victims Identified

The victims have been named as Bebe King Elsie Dot Stancombe and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, both 12 years old, and 13-year-old Elsie Dot. Police believe that the girls were targeted randomly while attending the holiday club at the Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Church.

Arrests and Charges

Muganwa is facing three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He appeared before Southport Magistrates' Court via video link from custody and was remanded in custody to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on August 25th, 2023.
