Unai Emery Previews Wolves Clash
Unai Emery Prepares Aston Villa for Wolves Test
Emery Anticipates Wolves' Physicality
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has provided his thoughts ahead of his side's Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Emery, appointed in October, has overseen a resurgence in Villa's form, guiding them to three wins in their last five league matches.
The Spaniard is aware of the challenge posed by Wolves, who have won their last two league games and are unbeaten in their last four.
"Wolves are a very physical team," Emery said in his pre-match press conference.
"They have good players, they are well-organized, and they are in a good moment."
Emery knows that Villa will need to be at their best to overcome Wolves.
"We need to prepare well for this match," he said.
"We need to be strong mentally and physically."
Emery is likely to make changes to his team following Villa's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in their last Premier League outing.
The Spaniard could recall defender Ezri Konsa and midfielder Douglas Luiz to the starting lineup.
Villa will be looking to build on their recent good form and close the gap on the top half of the Premier League table.
A win against Wolves would see them move up to 10th place.
Wolves, meanwhile, will be aiming to continue their climb up the table after a difficult start to the season.
The Molineux outfit currently sit 16th in the Premier League, four points above the relegation zone.
A win against Villa would see them move up to 12th place.
